As one-half of the legendary duo Steely Dan, Donald Fagen has fashioned some of the most evocative and influental music of the rock era. Together with partner Walter Becker, he wrote and recorded such platinum-plus albums as Aja and Gaucho and set a standard for state-of the-art studio craft.

Donald's first solo offering, The Nightfly, was released in 1981, and was nominated for seven Grammy® awards. Now, twelve years later, comes Kamakiriad, an audacious concept album that takes listeners on a literal trip into a brave new musical world.

Coinciding with the release of Kamakiriad comes news of Steely Dan's return to the stage in the group's first concert tour in twenty years.
